1989 GMC Ward Volunteer 35 passenger bus. The body of this bus is in excellent condition for it’s age and is straight and rust free. All of the glass is also excellent. The interior although not perfect is also in very nice condition. All six tires are Goodyear brand with substantial tread. Recently this bus had the brakes replaced all the way around, the carbuator replaced with a new Webber, a new battery, and a new tailpipe. All of standard accessories like lights, warning signals, heaters, wipers, defroster, etc appear to all be functioning as they should. The fire extinguisher, safety flare kit, first aid kit, and the hazardous spill kit are still in place. The bus is also equipped with a commercial hitch reciever and wired to pull a trailer. The mileage is 134,XXX and is powered by a gas 366CI big block V8, and automatic transmission which was replaced about one year ago. The engine always starts, sounds good and does not smoke, but loses power under a load. When the brakes are applied there is a noise that sounds like a vacuum leak and that is thought to be the problem but I have no docmentation to verify that. The air emmission pump is also currently disconnected. Due to the current mechanical condition the buyer may want to consider having this vehicle delivered depending on location. The bus comes with a good Missouri prior salvage title and I do not have the history on the prior salvage and there is no visual evidence of the bus ever being damaged or repaired. This is a very nice vehicle that could have a variety of possibilities, tailgate party bus, motorcycle or ATV hauler, on site mobile workshop, flea market vehicle, carpet hauler, and the list goes on. The winning bidder will not be disappointed in this purchase and the reserve is set very reasonable for the quality of this vehicle. I have tried to decribe this bus to the best of my ability but have probably missed something that you would like to know, if so just ask. I have a really nice one owner MCI 102 A3 bus with wheel chair lift above rear tires. This bus has been in central California all it’s life and very well maintained. 40 foot 102 inches wide 6 foot 7 inches headroom 41 reclining seats (49 if lift removed) factory restroom, air step, 8V92 Detroit Diesel turbo with auto trans, power steering, air brakes cruise control, self leveling air ride, 3 large storage bays. runs great, ready to drive away today. current registration, clean CA title. This bus would be great as a charter bus, or team bus, limo or RV motorhome conversion, and with the chair lift, or just having the large door in the back, opens up lots of usage. This unit is made with a Ford E450 chassis and a turtle top body. This is a 14 adult passenger shuttle with a rear separate luggage area. This is a nice small vehicle with that is great for a small program or church group. This is a 2002 with 149k miles on the triton v10 engine. The engine starts without hesitation and runs strong. There is very little rust on the underside and everything seems maintained and working proper. I am asking 12,500 for this piece but I am certainly open to offers. I have a extremely nice MCI bus(1982) that is rust and corrosion free for sale. This bus is a model 9 MCI, 40 foot long, 6 foot 7 inches headroom, 47 reclining seats, factory restroom, 6V92 Turbo Detroit Diesel with Allison 740 auto transmission. air ride, P/S, A/B, stainless steel bottom half, 3 large baggage bays that go from side to side. This bus is rust free, very sharp and great running with the engine having around 70,000 mile. the front end has been rebuilt, it has been a well cared for bus in all areas and is ready for work as a charter bus, team bus or convert to a limo bus or RV. You can find cheaper ones… but you will not find a cleaner bus for the money!It is cheaper to spend a little more and get a good bus like this than to try to save a few bucks and get a rusty one or a beater, this bus is really nice!!!
