1989 GMC Ward Volunteer 35 passenger bus. The body of this bus is in excellent condition for it’s age and is straight and rust free. All of the glass is also excellent. The interior although not perfect is also in very nice condition. All six tires are Goodyear brand with substantial tread. Recently this bus had the brakes replaced all the way around, the carbuator replaced with a new Webber, a new battery, and a new tailpipe. All of standard accessories like lights, warning signals, heaters, wipers, defroster, etc appear to all be functioning as they should. The fire extinguisher, safety flare kit, first aid kit, and the hazardous spill kit are still in place. The bus is also equipped with a commercial hitch reciever and wired to pull a trailer. The mileage is 134,XXX and is powered by a gas 366CI big block V8, and automatic transmission which was replaced about one year ago. The engine always starts, sounds good and does not smoke, but loses power under a load. When the brakes are applied there is a noise that sounds like a vacuum leak and that is thought to be the problem but I have no docmentation to verify that. The air emmission pump is also currently disconnected. Due to the current mechanical condition the buyer may want to consider having this vehicle delivered depending on location. The bus comes with a good Missouri prior salvage title and I do not have the history on the prior salvage and there is no visual evidence of the bus ever being damaged or repaired. This is a very nice vehicle that could have a variety of possibilities, tailgate party bus, motorcycle or ATV hauler, on site mobile workshop, flea market vehicle, carpet hauler, and the list goes on. The winning bidder will not be disappointed in this purchase and the reserve is set very reasonable for the quality of this vehicle. I have tried to decribe this bus to the best of my ability but have probably missed something that you would like to know, if so just ask.
