I have a really nice one owner MCI 102 A3 bus with wheel chair lift above rear tires. This bus has been in central California all it’s life and very well maintained. 40 foot 102 inches wide 6 foot 7 inches headroom 41 reclining seats (49 if lift removed) factory restroom, air step, 8V92 Detroit Diesel turbo with auto trans, power steering, air brakes cruise control, self leveling air ride, 3 large storage bays. runs great, ready to drive away today. current registration, clean CA title. This bus would be great as a charter bus, or team bus, limo or RV motorhome conversion, and with the chair lift, or just having the large door in the back, opens up lots of usage. This bus is rust and corrosion free! Come check it out or drive it home. I do have it available local, so if someone wants to come check it out and buy, they can. You will be able to find cheaper buses…. but nothing as nice as this for the money, Its a 1985 with a copy of the factory equipment and deliver form. also have most maintenance records etc. Also watch for my other auction for a MCI 9. I have a extremely nice MCI bus(1982) that is rust and corrosion free for sale. This bus is a model 9 MCI, 40 foot long, 6 foot 7 inches headroom, 47 reclining seats, factory restroom, 6V92 Turbo Detroit Diesel with Allison 740 auto transmission. air ride, P/S, A/B, stainless steel bottom half, 3 large baggage bays that go from side to side. This bus is rust free, very sharp and great running with the engine having around 70,000 mile. the front end has been rebuilt, it has been a well cared for bus in all areas and is ready for work as a charter bus, team bus or convert to a limo bus or RV. You can find cheaper ones… but you will not find a cleaner bus for the money!It is cheaper to spend a little more and get a good bus like this than to try to save a few bucks and get a rusty one or a beater, this bus is really nice!!! The best MCI 102c3 you’ll find. Extensively ugraded in 2003: Installed ATEC Tranny with retarder (HTB 748) and DDEC 6v92 Installed beautiful new roof and backwall fabric Installed new sidewall fabric Installed new RCA rubber floor and steps. Floor has no seams in main body, like a factory floor. Installed DVD player (but never got around to installing monitors) In 2006, we replaced the smooth steel skins. While the skins were off, we sandblasted and painted steel underneath. We also replaced much of the stainless steel and the rub rails. This fall, we undertook the following drivetrain work: Six new injectors Six new cylinder kits Replaced main bearings Installed a rebuilt HTB748 from Weller Put new Michelins on Steer and Drive Axles, and recaps on Tag. Tires are at about 95% tread. Unfortunately, the crankshaft broke on 2/27/22. The rear seal is damaged, so it’s not practical to drive it for more than a few miles, but it does run. I am including a 6v92 core which has had the heads and some other stuff removed. You should be able to use the block and crankshaft to repair the engine in the bus. Other than the crankshaft, this baby is in tip-top shape. It was in service carrying passengers until the fateful day when the crankshaft failed. I’ll upload a movie of the engine running on 2/4/12 shortly. Please check back. Pictures were taken when bus was unwashed. That’s why there is salt and road dirt on it. A deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours of auction end. Payment is due within 7 days of auction end. Price reduced! 1989 102 A3 MCI 40 ft motor coach. Interior: Half of the original seats have been removed and spread apart for lots of room. Two sets face each other in cabin style seating and two sets face each other with custom tables. Windows have pull down shades. Three original TV’s with VCR with aux inputs. Heating and air conditioning work great. Air condition systems recently pressure checked, small leaks fixed and re-charged. Great interior for small groups or large family travel. 6 way air ride drivers seat. Exterior: New paint and polished stainless sides. New LED marker, tail, brake, and back up lights. New Sylvania head lights. Approximately 80,000 miles the 8V92 overhaul. Super strong motor, fires right off. We have the latest oil analysis report. Approximately 60,000 miles on 740 Allison overhaul. New front air bags. Fresh undercoating on all wheel wells. Custom decal on front above windshield with personal logo. Will replace for new owner. Good tires. Stainless simulators. Acrylic windows for less weight recently polished. We purchased the bus to take family vacations. We have been to Colorado, Idaho, Tennessee and a lot of short runs into Arkansas and Missouri. We are selling the bus to take care of some other personal expenses. Bus is in excellent shape and we would drive it anywhere. It has good power for an 8V92 and performed well in the mountains for us.
