A custom made carpet compliments the “Route 66″ theme used throughout the coach. The kitchen is equipped with FANTastic roof fans and a large refrigerator. The Corian counter tops are as durable as they are beautiful. Sink fixtures in both the kitchen and bathroom are Premium Residential.. The full sized bathroom features full sized porcelon toilet and full sized shower (served by dedicated electric on demand water heater. To operate better in the mountains, we have had a complete professionally rebuilt engine and rebuilt Allison automatic transmission installed. The engine is a Detroit 8V96T Turbo replacing the much less powerful 8V91 standard on most busses of this vintage. Power is provided by 7.5KW Onan diesel generator, as well as 2 inverters, one 12VDC, one 24VDC.. There are many more features inside and out.- A copy of out latest appraisal is available on request. The coach is currently parked in The rear master bedroom has a full queen bed and lifts to provide even more storage secured, covered storage in Durango, CO. Up for sale is my 1982 MC-9, this bus is very nice for it’s age, currently registered expires 12/12. It has a 6v92 turbo charged Detroit with a 740 auto transmission, 47 passengers, 40′ 96″. There are no rips or any damages to the interior, all the lights are working, inside & out. The ac & heat works great, there are (3) large luggage bins for luggage or other purposes. This is a 1973 MCI 8 Bus that did the Greyhound St.Louis to Denver run until 1985. It has a Detroit turbo engine w/ Allison 4 speed transmission. Overhauled by Majestic Coach Company with MCI 9 parts. This bus had one owner from ’85 to ’06 when a fire damaged the interior. Damage has been cleaned out and is ready for restoration. Has been mechanically maintained and is in good driving condition.
